Went through Submer’s hiring process for a senior position—and it was one of the most disorganized and disrespectful experiences I’ve ever had. After an initial exchange and a positive interview, I was asked for further details and then… silence. For over two months.
No updates, no communication, nothing.
When I followed up, I finally got a cold, generic rejection—no feedback, no apology, not even basic decency. HR couldn’t be bothered to respond to me or even to their own internal requests.
That’s not just unprofessional, that’s broken.
A look at other candidates' feedback shows a pattern:
- Long delays without explanation
- Multiple rounds of interviews leading nowhere
- A hiring team that clearly has no idea what they want
- HR that ghosts candidates mid-process
It’s all smoke and mirrors. Submer claims to be innovative, but they can’t even manage a functional recruitment process. If you value your time and self-respect, don’t engage with them.
They are not ready to handle serious professionals, and their leadership clearly doesn’t care to change this. Stay away
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Submer in Feb 2025
Interview
Unprofessional overall, don't recommend. Management team isn't sure what they're looking for. They reached out to me and kept me in an interview loop. Wouldn't bother with them going forward
