      Customer Service Specialist Interview

      9 Feb 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Amsterdam
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Suitsupply (Amsterdam) in Dec 2025

      Interview

6 interviews for a Junior role. Like there is nothing better to fill their calendar with. After a call with the recruiter, the Regional Manager, an assessment and an invite at their HQ where I had interviews with 4 more people (back to back) they used an automated rejection email to let me know they will not offer me a job. Suit Supply prides themselves for providing personal CS and tailored interactions to their customers but they couldn't send a non automated email.

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Suitsupply (Amsterdam) in May 2025

      Interview

My first call with the recruiter was honestly great, she was super warm, clear, and really made me feel excited about the role. It felt like a company that values people, and I was genuinely looking forward to the next steps. But after that, things just fell flat. Communication from the CS team was really lacking. I was told I was moving forward, but then heard nothing unless I followed up myself. I understand people get busy, but after a while it started feeling like I was begging for a response, which isn’t a great experience to put any candidate through. The home assessment also didn’t offer much context. I only managed to make sense of it because I went deep into the company’s website and kind of guessed what they might expect. If I hadn’t done that digging, I would’ve felt completely lost. It made me wonder how many potentially great candidates just get stuck at that step. Honestly, the only part that felt personal or thoughtful was the first call. Everything after that felt a bit unstructured and hands-off. Advice to the team: Please improve the follow-up process, it really matters. And make sure your assessments give people enough context to succeed. First impressions count, but so do all the steps that come after.
