Round 1 - Recruiter reached out to me after I applied on LinkedIn. She sounded polite and knowledgeable about the role. She asked my current CTC and said that the starting range for this position is 18LPA. I agreed to do a call with a senior person in their engineering team.
Round 2 - This person was a bit rude and dismissive. He did recommend me for the next round, but said things like "unfortunately" he's leading the engineering team and so on. Seemed to give a lot of weight to the fact that colleagues are from IITs.
Round 3 - I get an email - the recruiter is scheduling a 3 hour interview on a workday. When I mentioned that it's not possible for me to take this up on a workday, she said she can't do weekends. When asked about the salary range again, she declined and called me instead (possibly wanting to not have it in writing)
So overall, a very negative interview experience! Seems to corroborate with the other experiences that people have had.
Just wanted to warn other folks, they seem to be wasting time and then lowballing candidates.
