I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Suki AI (Bengaluru) in Oct 2021
Interview
The HR lady scheduled almost 5 rounds for the interview. I was very clear about the compensation I was expecting from the beginning, and to only move forward if they afford.
Round 1 - It was just quick intro call, where the guy asked about my experience and told me about the company.
Round 2 - For some reason they arranged my interview with an iOS developer, The guy seemed knowledgable and I passed the interview
Round 3 - This was scheduled with the product designer, who seemed to have really good credentials. He asked me to show the product I have worked on.
Round 4 - This was again scheduled with a higher up manager, who again asked me about my experience and stuff
Round 5 - This was scheduled with the guy incharge of India operations. He asked me some generic questions about android. I asked why are they not scheduling my interview with an android developer, he kept he will arrange a meeting soon (red flag)
Round 6 - This was scheduled with head of hiring, I am not sure. He wanted to know my perspective about the company and if i think if its great or not.
After this, the HR lady told me she will get back to me in a couple of days. It's been weeks since i heard from her. I even emailed and called her, but she won't reply or pick up.
So basically I spent weeks giving interview at very odd times (US time zone), so that the HR lady can ghost me.
I don't understand how talent in US are still sticking with this kind of company, I only see it as a bullet dodged.
Stay away from this. please
