I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sullivan & Cromwell (New York, NY)
Interview
Interviewed with HR, a Legal Assistant, Legal Assistant Manager, and Legal Assistant Coordinator after a phone screening. Took about three hours. The first two interviews were fine and likely the least consequential. The manager asked some strange/personal questions.

Did a 30 minute interview with an HR representative at a college job fair. The next day they notified me that I was selected for an on-site interview. Interviewed at the NYC office about three weeks later. It was a 3-hour interview with another HR Rep, a current Legal Assistant, and Legal Assistant managers. Was notified about 2 weeks later that I did not get an offer.

Application
I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Sullivan & Cromwell (New York, NY) in Jan 2019
Interview
I applied through my campus career portal. The entire process took a little less than two months.
I originally did a 15-30 minute phone interview that definitely felt like more of a screening than an interview. The recruiter basically asked why I wanted to work there, and the recruiter confirmed I can work overtime and weekends. I was invited to come into the office (NYC location) for a second round interview at the end of that phone conversation. The phone conversation overall felt pretty impersonal and extremely formal. The second round consisted of interviews with various different people at different levels of the company, which overall turned out to be a much more positive experience than the phone conversation. All of them asked me some questions, but some were much more conversational than others. I sent follow up emails to all four of my interviewers, but only got one response back. I received a standard rejection email about two weeks later.
