Sunlight Group interview questions

After completing four demanding interview stages and an on-site interview with management, I received an official offer. The offer was then withdrawn simply because I attempted to negotiate the hybrid arrangement (3 instead of 4 days in the office). Considering the time invested in the process and the fact that a formal offer had already been made, this felt highly unprofessional and raised concerns about the company’s hiring practices. When I asked HR about the company’s 2.2 Glassdoor rating, they said they were not familiar with the platform. This response was surprising and did little to address the concerns raised by many of the reviews. My experience unfortunately ended up validating several of the issues previously mentioned there.

The process ended up taking three weeks without any update, and unfortunately HR did not inform me about the outcome. After sending two follow-up emails, I finally received a response along with an apology for the delay. Candidates invest their time and effort in the process, so it’s important that companies respect that and communicate accordingly.
