This was the most humiliating interview I have ever had. Unfortunately for me, I do my research about a company before I go in to interview, so I knew who the CEO was before I got there. I saw him walk past me again and again before I was called back. First, a girl called me back to ask if the pay rate was alright for me (16-18 per hour) which is very low for an Executive Assistant but beggars cant be choosers. I told her yes and she sent me back up the front telling me that the CEO was doing all interviews, awesome. But then, some other guy grabs me and you can tell he is just doing the interview because he was asked to. He had no knowledge of the job I was interviewing for and even said I wouldnt be working for him. But, he was nice enough so the interview went well. He tells me that my second interview again...will be with the CEO and to have a seat. I watched him go into the CEO's office and he must have asked him what he thought because I heard him loudly exclaim "I like her! I think shes smart" and then he was yanked in the office and I couldnt hear anymore. Then he comes out and tells me that he is going to "have to get in touch" with the CEO and see if he wants a second interview and told me to have a nice day. The CEO WAS RIGHT THERE! So I know that I didnt get this job strictly because the CEO didnt like the way I looked and refused to even bother to speak to me because of it. This was a total waste of my time and energy. If the CEO has a certain look of person he is going for, he needs to ask for pictures instead of wasting peoples time. And by the way, this is a nonprofit not a modeling agency. If the CEO thinking you're attractive is a qualification for helping children, I can only imagine the kind of help these children are not getting.
