      Senior Product Manager Interview

      27 Apr 2026
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Superhuman in Mar 2026

      Interview

The process was great. Not only were they incredibly fast at following up--sometimes even only an hour after the interview--but they were very friendly and professional the entire way through. Additionally, the nature of the interview process was very clear, since they provided a complete breakdown of each step, as well as what to expect. In addition to the screening call and initial call with another PM, there was: - product sense - technical interview - case study - product analytics interview The interview process was thorough and demanding, but very fair. I really enjoyed it and my conversations with everyone.

      Interview

My interview process was extremely professional and well-organized. I worked closely with the hiring manager, Rebecca, who was attentive and supportive throughout. She answered all of my questions, guided me through each step, and regularly checked in to update me on my status, including any delays. I found the process to be of very high calibre, which I greatly appreciated. The interviews were engaging and collaborative, allowing me to see what it is like to work alongside future colleagues. Preparing for the interview was a fun challenge, and I genuinely enjoyed the experience. I also valued that they thoroughly checked references—it showed me that they take hiring seriously and that joining this team is about more than simply filling a role. Knowing that the company upholds such high standards and is intentional about team fit was one of the most convincing reasons for me to join.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

The interview process involved multiple rounds and many questions, similar to the Google interview process. One question I particularly enjoyed asked me to think about an app I use regularly and suggest what I would change about it.

      Senior Product Manager Interview

      23 Feb 2023
      Anonymous employee
      Berlin
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Superhuman (Berlin) in Oct 2022

      Interview

I was reached out to via email by the head of Product. The interview process started with a casual chat with the head of product. This interview wasn't super structured but was more of a way to get to know each other. Furthermore, they described the role and what the expectations are. The next interview was with an Engineering Manager. This interview was more technical. Questions asked were designed to probe knowledge around KPIs and best practices for data-driven decision-making. There was a puzzle to check problem-solving skills in the context of an NLP product. Knowledge about NLP space and statistics is helpful in such interviews. Next, there was an interview with a Product Manager. The focus was to probe my knowledge and experience working on ML products. I talked about a specific data product that I've driven from inception to release, with a big focus on KPIs and measuring success. The interview was more of a conversation with occasional deep dives into problems I've faced during execution and how I managed to solve them. Next came an interview with a Product Designer. They asked me about my experience working with designers. Then there was a case study to design a customer experience for a hypothetical product. It was a series of open-ended questions to probe my product sense. Following that there was another interview with Product Head, but this time, it focused on my career path since graduation from school. This part was unique in the sense it focused on my relationship with my previous employers, what I liked about them, what I didn't like about them, and why. It was a bit uncomfortable to go into this journey down memory lane of my career, but I did enjoy it eventually. Next, there was another interview. with the Customer Support Manager going again down the memory lane of my career path, asking similar questions to the previous interview. Eventually, we reached the phase of contract negotiation, which lasted a few days. Finally, I happily accepted the offer.
