I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Susquehanna International Group in Aug 2025
Interview
The interview process was great at the beginning. I attended their Sophomore Operations Discovery Day and was able to learn a lot about the firm.
I had my final round interview a few weeks ago with a senior manager, and it felt very disengaged. Interviews are very much a two-way street, and the lady I spoke to wanted to create small talk and didn't seem serious about considering me for the role. This felt very much age discriminatory and a waste of my time as a student looking for work in such a hard job market, as I felt like my experience wasn't even something the senior employee cared about. I received a hiring follow-up email from a recruiter stating that they are not moving forward with my application, and that the reason why could not be disclosed, and to "take care".
With over 6+ months wanting this role and working hard to prepare to work at this firm, I felt that the interview didn't seem professional from the senior employee, and the follow-up email made me even more disappointed. Would not recommend it to anyone, and I most definitely will never apply for SIG again.
