Originally I applied for an inspector position with this company. First off they text messaged me to set up an interview which i felt was a bit off from a hiring team on the first interaction. They set up a phone interview and the hr guy starts asking me questions for primary operator positions. I tell him that I applied for a inspector position. And he says he will look into letting me interview with someone in that department. But he wanted me to first interview for the operator position . I agree thinking that it couldn’t hurt. I had a total of 2 interviews both were virtual over the computer, with the second virtual interview resulting in a job offer via email. First off this was disturbing because never have i been given a offer without touring the facility where I would work. And also the offer was very low compared to my current salary 10k less per year and the benefits were pretty horrible compared to my current. I called the hr manager and told him my displeasure with the current offer wage and that he sidelined the inspector position from me. He then tells me that there would be no way I could get the inspector position coming off the street. Even though i had experience in it. And the position is still listed. He wanted an answer from me within hours of getting the offer. I wanted a couple of days to look over everything especially benefits wise before rejecting. The HR guy was very pushy within 1 day he was sending me text messages asking if i was going to accept the offer. I rejected the offer. But asked if they would accept a counter offer, the offer was resented and i never heard from them again.
