Swat Fame interview questions

The current Director retired but was looking for her replacement. She was very nice but didn't seem to know what exactly she was looking for in a candidate. The interview with the CFO was not a positive one. He didn't seem to value Human Resources as a business partner and couldn't understand why I would want to work there. At that point I knew it wasn't the right place for me but I never received a thanks but no thanks letter or email. Just never heard back again. I thought that was unprofessional.
