I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Sweet Adelines International (Tulsa, OK) in Jun 2025
Interview
Outside of the current Chief Philanthropy Officer, who was fantastic, top leadership had a fundamental lack of understanding of the current job market and the philanthropic sector, and expected decades of experience for a 5 years of experience salary. Ultimately, the plug was pulled on the role itself, but not before this organization dragged the process on for four rounds of interviews, for months.
These things happen, but there is a certain way to handle them that signals respect for a candidate's time. That was not how this process unfolded. Re-reading some of the reviews here on Glassdoor, I'm unfortunately not surprised by them.
I never even applied to this, they recruited me. I would tread carefully. And if you get the sense that they are wasting your time - they are.

Interview
Interviewed with 3 different managers in group and solo settings; first with the HR manager over the phone, then in person. I came back for a second in-person interview a few days later for a meeting with two managers. Finally, the HR manager called me back and told me I was hired.
