Initially was interviewed for Pune region Delivery Head position. Expectations were to manage team of 2000 plus head count in Automotive domain.
Since I have managed team of 150 plus engineers was not direct suitable for the opening.
After 3 weeks, HR approached if I am fine with Delivery Manager role and I responded positively.
After rigorous follow up my HR round was arranged (tech. L1 and L2 were done way back 6 weeks of actual HR round).
HR round was also well taken up and I was asked to submit joining form with all salary slips, previous certificates etc.
Post to this there was complete lull for another 6 odd weeks. I kept following up on outcome with HR heads with no response. Only to get surprising email after 6 weeks that they have decided not to proceed with my candidature.
No reason was provided for rejection. I did question HR about this but no response.
Horrible experience.
HR team looks to be irresponsible and needs rigorous follow up. Also there's no courtesy towards candidate to provide with justification for rejection. I can understand if the candidature is rejected at L1 or L2 round which proves incompetent forth role opening. But L1, L2, HR done, joining form filled , salary expectations discussed and post to that you reject the candidate with no justification is complete unprofessional.
