The initial phone interview was standard. The 2nd round interview was on-site meeting your direct manager and the team. I was given a tour of the facility and met the team. And finally, the 3rd round interview was an online Teams call with a senior dev at the company. This was a technical style interview where I was tested on my knowledge of required systems. Overall, this the process was okay but long and drawn out. After the 1st and 2nd interview, the HR rep was very responsive and communicated next steps in the process (at most it took a few days to have the next interview scheduled). However, after the 3rd round interview, the responsiveness seized. I reached out and was told the 3rd round interviewer liked me, however, they were interviewing someone else (starting at the 1st round interview). Radio silence for about 2 - 2.5 weeks. The last communication was a rejection email.
