I applied online. I interviewed at TIENS (Germany) (Berlin) in Nov 2025
Interview
The process started with an HR interview where I introduced my professional background. The exact job title was unclear from the beginning, as it was referred to as either Financial Accountant or Finance Coordinator, and the responsibilities did not fully align with typical expectations.
Before the second interview, salary expectations had already been discussed and aligned, which made the process appear more advanced.
I was invited to a second online interview that was scheduled with the CFO. However, after waiting around 20 minutes, the CFO did not join and no explanation was provided. Instead, someone introducing himself as HR Manager conducted the interview and asked technical questions.
There was repeated emphasis on overtime, weekend work, and high stress, including a direct question about weekend availability.
After spending approximately two hours across both interviews, I did not receive any formal rejection or feedback despite sending follow-up emails. Later, I noticed that another candidate had been hired for a Financial Controller position, which added to the confusion about the actual role being filled.
