I applied in-person. I interviewed at TJ Maxx (Las Vegas, NV) in May 2013
Interview
I went online and completed an application. I didn't hear anything back. So I waited a week is so and filled out an in person application. It took 2 extra weeks for them to call me back. I went thru 3 interviews and was hired.
Pretty ordinary interview, asked questions like why do you want to work here? Where do you see yourself in a few years? Etc.. They like seeing if you have open availability and willingness to learn despite not having experience.
I applied online. I interviewed at TJ Maxx (Wooster, OH)
Interview
A pretty straight forward interview process. Overall just getting a feel for if the candidate is a good fit for the culture and store. It helps if the individual interviewing has open availability since this can make a difference depending oon the time of year the candidate is interviewing.

Interview
Very smooth, not intimidating, good manager when I interviewed. One on one. Good interview questions. Felt comfortable, relaxed and easy going. Enjoyed the interview and was hopeful for a job offer.
