I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at TJ Maxx (Joplin, MO) in Sept 2024
Interview
The interview was only a few minutes and pretty basic. Just the interviewer asking me to tell them more about myself, how I handled stressful situations at my previous job, what I liked about my previous job, what I didn't like, etc. They told me they'd let me know in another day or two about their decision, but I had a rejection email in my Inbox by the time I got down the hallway.

Question 1
What did you not like the most about working at your previous workplace?
very easy and simple, i felt very heard and that they were interested in my work history and what i could add to the team! over all a very good interview and place to work
The TJ Maxx process is fast and straightforward, typically involving a single 20-minute interview. Managers focus on your schedule availability, multitasking abilities, and personality fit for a fast-paced retail environment.
I applied and they called about a week later and I was offered the position on the spot. This was my first job interview during COVID and it went fine. The manager that interviewed me is no longer there, but still a great place.
