Interview
Interviewing at Talent Neuron was a wild ride.
1st stage conversation was with a member of their internal recruitment team. Who asked to pull forward the meeting by an hour with 3mins notice (after re-scheduling earlier in the week). Very casual chat to see if there is an alignment in terms of skills and experience. 30mins.
2nd stage was 3 individual interviews with the hiring manager who then referred me to speak with 2 additional colleagues from business development and product management. While the conversations were friendly none of them had actually prepared for the meetings and the questions seemed random and not really targeted at the specs of the role description. The 3rd interviewer even let me know that he did not even know what role i was being interviewed for. When I explained he told me that he is confused as role titles had once again been changed recently and he does not really know what to ask me and that I should just tell him what I personally thought relevant.
All 3 interviewers openly talked about the long-lasting restructuring of the business and that there was little that could be relied on, which seemed odd.

Interview
Relatively informal and unstructured. First interview was a typical screening interview with the head of recruitment. Second interview was an informal 30 min with the CRO. The next steps seemed a bit unclear, but they were eager to fill the role quickly. I wasn’t sure if 60 total minutes with only two people was enough to decide if I wanted to join the company. A few days later they asked me to provide them with copies of work I had done at previous companies, which was a bit off putting. I was also never given complete details around salary and benefits. I decided to remove myself from consideration.
