I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Talkspace (Los Angeles, CA) in Jan 2017
Interview
It took 4 months to get through the training module which was tedious as I felt like most of the questions where geared toward how to respond to clients in a way that made talkspace happy rather than any real mental health benefit to the client. Basically they wanted us to have a conversation that would be able to string the client along for at least 3 months to get as much money out of them as possible,
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How to ask questions to keep the client on the platform for at least 3 months or longer.
There was only one interview. It was fairly casual and laid back. They did not ask the “normal” clinician interview questions. It was more of a conversation-style type of interview.

Interview
Very easy process to get started at Talkspace. As a therapist you are a consultant, so they need to make sure you are licensed and know basics. They do not interview you in person
I had to provide documentation of licensure and insurance, complete assignments and take skill tests. Once accepted, I was provided a training coach and participated in training sessions. At the completion of training, I entered the orientation phase until becoming a full provider.
