Tampa Events Group interview questions

This is essentially an exploitative attempt to get cheap, high energy labor. The process is essentially... do you have a pulse? If so, please come in for an interview ASAP. Then go do basically free work for the company.

This job is the biggest hoc of crap. If you have a pulse and want to do drone work that takes zero skills-they want you! It was presented to me as a salaried job from the beginning and they made it seem like the pay would be at least as much as I currently make (32,000/Year) and then on the second interview they told me I would be $8 and hour with an additional crappy commission for how many "leads" you get. I was never made aware of the commission part of the job until they already wasted a bunch of my time. When they asked me to come in for a second interview, they told me it would only be and hour and a half. They did not tell me that I would be driving 30 minutes from the main office to the site and then 30 minutes back. So they interview took 3 hours. I had to take off work to interview for this company and they were not up front about what the job was. They say you're not selling anything, but what you are doing is basically sales. Walking around stores and engaging customers and getting them to sign up for services IS sales. You are selling them a free service, but still selling their time. BE UP FRONT WITH YOUR BUSINESS, PEOPLE! As someone with a bachelor's degree and specific skills, I was very disappointed with the company and the interview process. Don't feel special because the people here act like they like you. They are just happy they conned someone into interviewing for them.
