On Campus hiring. MCQ test, group discussion and personal Interview. Students short listed at every stage. Interviewers very old experienced professionals. They would respect humility and maturity compared to creativity and humor. TATA is big brand, everyone has respect for it. They were going to various campuses during that month. i did contact other campus friends where they had already been. Process was very similar only group discussion topics changed. If not anything else, reduces surprise element.

there was a written process . after that pi was conducted . interview was mainly on summer project , a few ques about automobile (basic ) . ques from fav topic . basic thermodynamics . what is first law , what is second law , then ques was from transmission, gear box , then selection was done . entire process was conducted in 1 day . interview was good
