I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Teaching Lab in Apr 2024
Interview
The interview was around 30 minutes. Most of the questions are behavioral questions. They would ask several technical questions, but are basic levels. The interviewees are quite nice. Overall, it was great interview experience

I applied online. I interviewed at Teaching Lab (New York, NY) in Sept 2023
Interview
Lengthy application questions. Asked same things in interview (did not appear to have read responses/reviewed resume). Short zoom call for initial round with detail of next steps to follow, but communication stalled. Interviewee had to reach out after follow-up window. Pretty straight forward, organization seems to be doing great work.

Question 1
Discuss the mission of the organization & how it aligns with your career goals.
I applied online. I interviewed at Teaching Lab in Feb 2024
Interview
I clearly should have come to Glassdoor before scheduling my interview! I applied to a manager position in early December 2023. In mid-February 2024, I received an invite to interview. I scheduled my interview through the online Calendly app. On the morning of my interview - about 45 minutes before it was scheduled - I received a rejection email, stating they appreciated my interest but were extending an offer to another candidate. What? Why schedule the interview with me if someone else was in the final stages? The whole thing was a little weird. I was willing to write off some of the red/orange flags but now I think I may have dodged something worse.
