During the very first phone call with HR I was told I was not a good fit because I didn't have a specific type of prior work experience and when they initially looked at my resume it was a "maybe". They said I'd probably be good for another position (totally not what I am looking for) based on part of my previous experience (which is not even what they thought it was). After rejecting me they asked if I had any questions about the company...This had got to be one of the most awkward interviews I've had. Recommend HR taking communication courses or simply talk less and listen more. What good does it do to outright reject someone to their face? Are you trying to start an argument? Listen to them and if they don't seem a good fit, thank them for their time and send a rejection letter later. Try to understand others instead of making yourself seem smart and important.
