      Account Manager Interview

      11 Nov 2014
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Team 210 in Nov 2013

      Interview

There are two interviews that you will have to go through. Applying through the company website will for sure get you a first round interview of your resume is halfway decent. The first interview is pretty short and basic. You will walk in and find cool music playing and a bubbly secretary. You will fill out a basic questionnaire asking normal things like are you competitive, are you a leader, and basic personality questions that are best just to answer honestly. They are really looking for if you can be professional. By that I mean you followed directions and wore business attire, speak with confidence, and can make eye contact. The first round interview can be anywhere from five to fifteen minutes. As long as you answer confidently and did not showing up looking like a dirt bad you will most likely get invited to a second round interview later that day or soon after. Oh yeah, when they call you concerning your resume that is also a sort of interview as the person calling makes notes about how you answered the questions and if you were nice. Anyway, the second round interview is a bit different than most interviews. You will show up again and be introduced by the Manager or Assistant Manager to who will be conducting your second round interview. As somebody who would do this I will tell you what I looked for, though I cant speak for the other account managers who interview. I would look for somebody that I could hang out with. The main things that you must make clear are that you have a student mentality, a good work ethic, and a positive attitude. Those things are hard to tell from the questionnaire. Normally people with degrees I knew would be able to study, but I would normally ask about past work experience and just let the person talk. I would not want to bring on the person if they made a lot of excuses of why they hated their last job. Also, don't be boring. I turned down a few people who were just quiet and emotionless. You have to keep in mind that the person interviewing you will also train you for at least 4-5 days and be your mentor forever.

      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Team 210 (San Antonio, TX) in Feb 2017

      Interview

The interview process is broken down into two days. The first interview is fairly short ~15-20 minutes between you and either the branch manager or HR. After which they will call you later on in the day letting you know whether you have been selected to go through the second interview or not. The second interview is between the interviewee and an Account Manager, with a recent hire tagging along. This interview is more focused on why you applied and what you want from the job. As well as going through your resume and asking personal questions. They will also refer to a survey you filled our on the first day and ask you about your decisions, before breaking down the Law of Averages. After which you will be asked if you have any questions before going to a separate location and watching both the recent hire and account manager do the job.

      Interview

The process is quick, it doesn't take longer than a week and has really easy questions. They make feel comfortable all the time and everyone there is really friendly. This might be a good fit for you if you're looking a job and want to get it quick. However, it is a MUST to have a job to make your work easier here and since I don't have one, it was the main reason I didn't get the job.

      Interview

This was an amazing opportunity. I was able to work with people who are dedicated and passionate to their career paths. Sales is not always the easiest job, and this group works with not only high regard, but with a rare sentiment as well. Their daily encouragement and work environment served to truly raise my confidence level and positivity. I now have a stronger mentality because of them. I recommend Team 210 to anyone who is tired of casual jobs and searching for a career path. The atmosphere they have created truly allows you to push yourself to new heights; giving you an "unrelenting belief" not only in yourself, but in the things you stand for as well.
