Team Velocity Front End Developer interview questions

Despite being told it wouldn't be a technical interview, there were many specific technical questions which weren't explained very well or explained out of context. The questions got progressively harder and out of scope for the perspective job role. Then I felt he was trying to stump me with trick questions that were very specific in nature and you wouldn't know the answer to unless you had specific documentation is front of you. What's also odd is that their tech stack is older (ie: jquery) and the questions had nothing to do with the job description.
