I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Team Velocity (Herndon, VA) in Sept 2015
Interview
Overall the interview process went very smoothly, and was a very positive experience. After I submitted my resume online, the Talent Manager contacted me to schedule a phone interview. The phone interview was thorough, I was given the opportunity to explain my professional experience, what I enjoyed about my role, and what I had an interest in pursuing moving forward. I was happy with how the call went. Shortly after, we scheduled an in-person interview within the same week. I met with the Creative Director, who I spoke with for a while about my portfolio, the scope of the job responsibilities, and he gave me a general sense of the types of projects that the creative teams usually work on. The Talent Manager followed up with me in a very timely manner to discuss next steps.

Interview
Interview process was very straightforward. I had an initial phone screen that lasted about 45 mins, and then an in person interview a week or so later. Both were pretty casual, and everyone I spoke to made me feel comfortable and welcome. We discussed my past experiences and went over my portfolio.

Interview
When I first walked in an employee heading out to lunch went out of her way to help me find my way and was incredibly nice. When I was waiting for my interview a man came up to me and began chatting with me and was genuinely interested in what I had to say. We had a wonderful comfortable conversation and when I asked my Interviewers who that man was because I wanted to compliment how welcoming and nice he was, I learned it was the President of the company. Once in the conference room, I quickly learned that the interview had no fake front that most interviews do. They said how it was professionally and wanted the same from you. I felt comfortable and appreciated for my personality, work and accomplishments while cracking some jokes in the process.
