      Sales Interview

      13 Oct 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at TeamSnap

      Interview

Started off with a standard phone screen and then spoke with a member from their team. The process was very fast and smooth. However, after speaking with a member from the team, never heard back. Was disappointed that no one from Team Snap had the decency to send a rejection letter. A company like this that preaches high values yet doesn't even acknowledge or communicate applicants that are not chosen is a company I would not recommend to anyone.

I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at TeamSnap (New York, NY) in May 2024

      Interview

Recruiter reached out to set up a time for an initial screening. We met within a few days. They shared a culture playbook so I could familiarize myself with their values. I was told they were very far along in the process with other candidates so it may not pan out. The conversation was a good mix of culture fit and applicable experience.

      Sales Interview

      30 Apr 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at TeamSnap in Apr 2019

      Interview

Applied online and quickly received a request for an initial phone screen. From then on proceeded to have 6+ video interviews spanning over a month, with various members of the team, including the VP of Sales. This was an extremely time consuming process for a mid level sales role. Throughout the process I had to consistently follow up with the hiring manager to hear back about next steps. After the third round interview I was actually rejected, only to have the hiring manager come back a day or two later to let me know that another candidate "dropped out of the race". At this point I assumed that an offer was coming my way, but in actuality I had to go through 3 more rounds of interviews. In hindsight, this was a red flag but I was enthusiastic about the position so I pressed on. Lastly, I was asked to provide references PRIOR to an offer, which I was told was their “HR Policy”. Totally not a normal experience, and left a bad taste in my mouth. After contacting OLD references to speak with the hiring manager, I was promptly followed up with the next day with a rejection. When asked for feedback as to why, the initial email was reiterated and I was told they “went in a different direction.” Last I checked, that’s not feedback. Also, several interviewers spoke to the constant change and disorganization at the company. Overall, this process was unnecessarily long, inefficient, and showed very little respect to myself as a candidate. This is clearly a direct reflection of the company, and I would recommend steering clear of any opportunities here!
