I applied online. I interviewed at Tebra in Aug 2022
Interview
I had a great screening call with the recruiter. She was transparent, personable, and thorough. The issues really came to light when I interviewed with the hiring manager. I had an hour long interview that consisted of an impromptu case study via Google Slides. The hiring manager was sharing her screen and asking me questions like how I would prioritize certain initiatives or how I would change the layout of the slide to make it more readable. While in the midst of explaining one of my answers, the hiring manager opened up another candidate's resume on screen. It took her awhile to realize she had obscured the powerpoint I was looking at until I pointed out that I couldn't see the content anymore. I continued on and finished the interview as if nothing happened despite feeling like the hiring manager wasn't paying attention to anything I was saying or had already written me off as a candidate. The recruiter followed up with me after the interview to ask me how things went and I informed her of the hiring manager pulling up another person's resume on the screen. I never heard anything after that.
