I am having 11+ years exp but the JD was asking for 8 years exp, but then i applied for the job as there is some onsite opportunity..
So with 11+ years of exp, i think anyone can imagine kind of interview they would be expecting... I went at 11, waited to be called at 11.40, and i could feel around the college lab atmosphere...
One woman came to me, allotting me a computer and asked me to solve 2 C programs in an hour, and also "First one to be solved in less than half-an-hour", by this time i was super irritated but then out of courtesy i stayed like for ten mins and then walked out...
I think they have to re-evaluate their recruiting process... you can't judge an embedded programmer with two string programs and also what's that logic??? first question in first half-an-hour and second one in next half-an-hour?? hahahah.. hilarious...
OK, letz be fair to them, they want to test C skills, ok i agree... i come from strong C background, but then i don know how to work on visual studio, ofcourse i need not to... what they asked me is to code on visual studio?? so they expect me to figure out visual studio in half-an-hour and complete the program...
So, i honestly NOT recommend this company, after all recruiting process itself shows how pathetic their process is...
