I went through a long and frustrating interview process with Telna that lasted over three months. I had four interviews, including one in person, and was repeatedly told that I was a strong candidate and that they wanted to move quickly. The hiring manager even discussed potential start dates and assured me that HR would reach out regarding the contract. Despite this, I was left in the dark for weeks at a time. Their in-house recruiter was completely unprofessional and unable to conduct open communication or responses (internally they do not seem aligned at all and cannot even organise a conference call when parties are joining in from different timezones). Throughout the process: I had to take a day off work to accommodate the interview. Two online interviews were scheduled where Telna simply didn’t show up, wasting my time. Interviews were scheduled at 6:00 AM my time, requiring me to adjust my schedule significantly. Each time, I was told I was an excellent fit and that they were eager to move forward—only for them to disappear for weeks at a time with no communication and then eventually jumping back in. After a final follow-up, I received an ambiguous rejection message from the recruiter, with no real explanation after all the effort I put in. Overall, the process felt more like an information-gathering exercise for their region expansion rather than a genuine attempt to hire me. Telna’s lack of professionalism, transparency, and respect for candidates’ time makes me question how they operate internally and if I'm honest really put me off. If you're considering interviewing with them, be prepared for delays, ghosting, and a lack of respect for your time.
