I spoke to a project manager and a senior level engineer and they asked me a lot of technical questions which I was able to successfully answer. The recruiter herself was not at the interview. The day after, I got a call telling me that they would like to make me an offer and was advised to hand in my two weeks notice here because they needed me to start in two weeks. I did as they said and resigned from my current job.
Two days later, I called back to ask a couple of questions about the offer and they said that an offer was never made to me. The recruiter apologized for her mistake and said that she would consider me for a junior level position (pft, yeah right). Sure enough, I never got that phone call.
Not only did I lose the "job offer", I also lost my current job. This company screwed me over so hard and all I got was an apology. The worst part of it is is that there is no legal recourse.
