Facts:
- I was interviewed by 1 HR, 1 Manager, 1 Engineer.
- I took a technical test.
- Tesla cancelled multiple times the first phone screening.
- I was ignored for weeks after my third interview.
- I had to contact multiple HR and only got my answer after emailing one of the managers.
- This answer was a phone call with feedback about technical details that I never discussed in any of the three interviews I had.
- At the end of this phone call I was asked for several weeks in which I could still be contacted if 'anything' came up.
Opinion:
-I was very excited to begin a process with Tesla but I have to say I ended up appreciating more the company I work for and very disappointed in Tesla (not only in the recruitment process but also in what I learned about the company during the interviews).
-The HR person I spoke to needs training and this speaks bad about Tesla. His/her behaviour was very amateur.
-The received feedback was random as it was about technical details I had never discussed in any of my interviews.
-After finally receiving the rejection call, this person still asked if I could be contacted in the next few weeks. I believe this was a very bad attempt to leave the phone call with a positive instead of a negative (101 HR technique but horrendously executed as this would leave the person hanging).
-My CV clearly targeted a leadership position (the manager mentioned this in my interview) but I was still asked to complete the technical test (which the manager said I should not have happened).
