I applied through university. I interviewed at Tesla (Waterloo, ON) in Aug 2015
Interview
3 interviews. 1st was with general recruiter - main question, why tesla? 2nd interview was with a senior engineer who tested you on your aptitude on the role and talked much about your own experiences. 3rd interview was with manager and is chill - they are just making sure your a good fit socially and inter-personally for the team
Pretty good the interview went really well ,My core strength is my ability to collaborate effectively across teams. In my last role, I bridged gaps between marketing and sales, ensuring projects aligned with both goals. I also have strong problem-solving skills
Fast-paced, demanding interviews with deep technical grilling, real-world problem solving, cross-functional questions, and culture fit. Expect high standards, rapid iterations, ownership mindset, and emphasis on execution over theory. Technical analysis and development are the key
The interviewer was very confident but sometimes wrong! It makes no sense for him to be the one judging the next candidates. I quickly lost hope in their system and decided not to continue if that reflects the team.
