I applied to numerous job opportunities due to my move to USA. TextNow was one of those companies, and I was thrilled when they responded to my application during this crisis time, even without a referral. Despite reading some negative feedback here, I faced professionalism and a welcoming atmosphere. Had these steps: 1. 30-minute call with a recruiter 2. 1-hour call with a Sr Manager, discussing my experience, leadership style, and other EM topics Onsite Interviews: 1. 1-hour session with a Staff Android Engineer, focused on Android development 2. 45-minute session with a Product Manager, centered around stakeholder collaboration 3. 30-minute conversation with a Learning & Development Project Manager, assessing cultural fit and discussing benefits; I particularly enjoyed this part and learned about their interesting benefits, such as paid coaching 4. 45-minute session with a Principal SWE and an iOS EM, covering management, conflict resolution, and other Management subjects 5. 15-minute wrap-up with Sr. Manager to provide my feedback on the onsite experience and discuss the next steps Regrettably, a week after the onsite interview, I received an email that the position had been put on hold, but interviewers provided positive feedback. As I had a few other offers on the table, so I accepted an offer from Google. Nonetheless, I wish the TextNow team the best of luck and am grateful for the pleasant interview experience.
