Applied via email and was contacted by phone to come to Augusta for an in-person interview and copy editing test. Was put up in a very nice hotel that the parent company owns. Spoke with several people in management, including news editor and managing editor. Questions focused on skills and past works experiences. Editing test included commonly misspelled words, sports team mascots and the name of the executive editor. Was taken out to lunch, where interview continued. Job offer came via telephone the next day.
