The interview involved a panel of 4 people which included the Director of the institute, the Rearch Management team leader, a Research Associate and the Head of HR. Sometimes panel interviews can be a bit daunting, but I was immediately put at ease and made to feel very welcome. I was then introduced to the person who had been performing the role and was given opportunity to discuss the details in an informal setting. Finally, I had a brief chat with another member of the recruitment team who explained the terms and conditions of the post and gave me a lot of information about the culture of the institute.
Overall, I was left with a very positive impression of the Institute as a great place to work. Everyone I met there was very friendly and clearly passionate about what they do.
