So after being laid off for months, there’s the first interview that I was able to get, and I was super excited where I can actually learn a new skill set in trans into hospitality. Is an entry-level role but since I came with no server experience, she literally said straight to my face cut the interview off Short and I said I able to prefer someone with restaurant experience despite the restaurant consistently being shortstaffed so it was like one week of my time being wasted.

They walked me through my resume and asked me to highlight my skills. I appreciated their warm, engaging tone and the comfortable, conversational nature of the discussion overall during the interview.

Very short and simple, just asked to talk about experience and talk about yourself/why you wanted the position. Very friendly staff. If you are confident and comfortable it is straight forward.
