I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at The Buckle (Denver, CO) in Jan 2012
Interview
The interview was very informal. We stood behind a rack as I was asked questions mostly about leadership skills and experience and how my previous work experience would relate to the job I was applying for. I did not have any previous retail experience nor any serious leadership experience, nor do I have a very bubbly personality (cheerleader type), so I probably was seen as not a good match for their company and was not hired.
Super quick and easy. The woman who interviews me was very kind and understanding to it being my first retail job. I was offered a job on the spot and was able to ask any lingering questions I had about the role and profession.

Interview
