The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at The Container Store in Dec 2011
Interview
This interview process was very painful. 7 weeks of dragging it out, phone interviews, one on ones then more phone interviews. The recruiter and the field didn't communicate and left me hanging. Very disappointed in this company. It's good they have the award for top 100 places to work because they get it for worst place to interview. I used to be a customer and will no longer be if this is how they do business.
After 7 weeks of ridiculousness, you would think they would give a little more specific reason than just "no positions available" seriously!

Question 1
The one on one interview in the store was mostly the managers talking about the business, no real questions.
I applied online. I interviewed at The Container Store (El Segundo, CA) in Sept 2024
Interview
Amazing. Smooth and very comprehensible with knowing next steps and who to contact if I had questions. Communication was done via email and phone, very on time and purposeful. Had fantastic touch bases with lead interviewer on next steps and what to expect.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at The Container Store in Oct 2021
Interview
The interview in itself was not difficult but the amount of individuals I was asked to speak with was a little overwhelming. I appreciate the thoroughness of wanting to obtain the right person for the role.
