I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at The Emirates Group (San Francisco, CA) in Jun 2015
Interview
You submit application online, and if there's an open/assessment day near you, you should get an email inviting you. Just so you know, though you most these 'assessment days' require you to be invited from applying online, the open day process is incorporated into the assessment day, so the first step after a presentation and some questions, is submitting your resume and having a 2 second interaction with the single recruiter there, and there is a cut immediately after where half the applicants are cut.
Also, I waited a month and a half to get an automated response email inviting me to this two days before the event. Good luck!

2.What is your best quality?
The interview takes place in several stages over two days. The first stage is a presentation of the company, followed by questions. Then there are group activities and individual face-to-face interviews. They also check your height. The next day there is another individual interview with a medical check.
it was done through an agent and the agency was talking more about himself than trying to ease attendee’s nervousness. Not sure what his rule is as outstanding candidates with good communication skills and looks were not shortlisted.
