I applied to a posting on Idealist and was called to an interview after about 3 months. Had totally forgotten about applying with them. Went into for an in person interview. The conference room was full. The entire team minus, one person was on the panel. Questions were not that difficult, took about an hour. I am sure I aced almost all of them. They stated they were looking to fill the position quickly and would get back to me soonest. Up till now I never heard back from them. Finally heard through the grapevine that they had filled the position but not at the associate director level. They renamed the position to Senior Manager. Turns out theyalready had a person for this position the entire time and were just going through the motions. What a waste of time
