To preface, I never engaged in a formal interview with this company. However, I feel they showed a lack of professional courteousness in terms of their interview process. Let me expand:
(1) I first spoke with a recruiter to follow-up on my application via email
(2) I then received an email from, I believe, the main recruiter for their particular client
(3) we setup a time, day and place for a face-to-face interview
(4) the recruiter cancelled the day of the interview (they did call me and email to inform me about 2 hours before the interview - so this is a somewhat satisfactory timeframe to cancel)
(5) I emailed the recruiter back to reschedule
(6) Heard back from the recruiter 4 days after that email. The recruiter cited that the position is on hold, but that they would get back to me in a few days (which is around the end of June)
(7) Never heard back from anyone still - I even called the recruiter about prospective other opportunities
I feel that they could have simply explained that the position is indefinitely on hold, but that they would consider me for other suitable opportunities. Recruiter 101 IMO.
