The interview was very casual and comfortable. I was interviewed by two very friendly people who were easy to talk to. One showed up late after the other individual started interviewing me. I did not feel I performed exceptionally well during this process and figured I would not receive an offer. I asked when I should expect to hear back, and they said it would be around a month. They never reached back out again. After putting the pieces together, I felt they just penciled me in and went through with it since I had a referral from another employee. I'm pointing this out because other people have had similar experiences regarding timeliness and lack of response. It is quite frustrating not to receive any follow-up communication with the current state of the job market. Regardless, I'm sure it is still worth applying and that the culture internally is pretty good, but if you're met with a lack of clarity, focus on applying elsewhere and don't expect a response back.
