The process itself was fine and the recruiter was friendly, communicative and transparent. Initial call was with the hiring manager who was not only late but also disorganized in our conversation. When I asked about their management style they said "I'm a pain with details and my past teams say I'm too picky" which I interpreted as someone who is a likely a micromanager. I declined to continue in the process. The compensation is also on the low side for the level and the market but may be competitive if you are based where they are headquartered in MD. They don't seem to adjust compensation based on location for remote roles.
