I interviewed for a Senior Media Marketing Manager role, and met with 4 different people, all but one were pretty awful. The conversations were very rushed, and were extremely one-sided and felt like a test specific to their role, some in different departments, rather than the role I was interviewing for. There was no interest in why I was looking to switch companies, my professional interests or other that I feel are important for interviewing someone into a senior role. Each person had a laundry list of questions, one even just would respond "ok", after my response, and quickly moved on to the next question without any further conversation on context, experience as it related to my answer, etc, and in one I was even cut off during my answers. There was no time to ask questions back, before they quickly left for another call. I sent Thank You emails within hours of each interview and not one person replied. I then got an email from the hiring manager that they weren't moving forward with me for this role. This was a new role they were creating, so I would caution anyone applying by understanding the expectations of the role, which were unclear based on my interview experience and those I interviewed with, and would potentially work with, were not pleasant. All in all, it was the worst interview experience I've ever had, and I hope they do better.
