3 stage process, presentation and competency questions included. Fairly structured process. HR joined for final interview for soft skills questions. Would recommend, polite and friendly hiring manager. Would look to apply again.

"Can you describe your experience in creating and managing budgets
I applied online. I interviewed at The Law Society in Jan 2026
Interview
A single interview consisting of six competency questions and one introductory question. Very friendly and professional.
I was taken aback to get a post-interview rejection via a template email - previously I've always been rejected after an interview via phone call or personalised email. It felt like a brush-off to get a template rejection, especially after putting a lot of time in.
However, the email did offer feedback on request, and I got some very thoughtful, detailed and helpful feedback from the hiring manager - I appreciated this a lot.

Question 1
Describe a time that you handled a complex project from beginning to end with minimal supervision
There was just one stage interview which involved a presentation about your approach to analysing data. No data was provided mainly because the idea is to assess processes rather than output.
