Phone interview. The recruiter had no idea what she was doing. She called hours off of the scheduled time and was completely disorganized. It was only a few minutes in when we both realized that I wasn't interested in the position. The company was looking for advisors with a current book of business, but the recruiter could not provide any good reason why someone would leave their current broker/dealer for a small company like The Mutual Fund Store. The interview was odd enough that I felt compelled to offer feedback for the recruiter to take back to the company in regards to their odd search criteria.
