Applied for a role I was qualified for, only to be told I wasn’t considered because I “didn’t proceed with scheduling” interviews for two prior openings. Exact quote: “Given this pattern, we felt it best to focus on candidates who haven’t previously passed on interview opportunities with us.”
Seriously, who holds a grudge over that? Life happens, priorities change, but apparently, they’d rather focus on past interviews than the candidate in front of them. If this is how they handle hiring, I’d hate to see how they operate as a company.
