I was supposed to be hired from within knowing that I had the experience and was too qualified to work the front desk. I was told during my very first interview that the first thing that opened up was mine. Come to find out, she never left and the position remained closed. They had me work with the financial aid office for two days while they "test me out" and then tried not to pay me even though I worked about 12+ hours those days. When I asked for the pay they responded with "I don't understand why you thought you were being paid."
