I had a good phone and video interview experience. The CEO was very professional and honest. She made an effort to understand my motivations for working at TSL and explained how TSL could help me reach my professional goals. My impression was that the CEO has a lot of interviewing experience and can easily distinguish "form answers" from genuine interest. I recommend TSL and my advice is, to be honest, and present your real interests instead of worrying too much about impressing the interviewer.

Question 1
Why do you want to be a consultant when you have a very strong research background and can easily get a high-paying job as a scientist?
I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at The Solution Lab (New York, NY)
Interview
Phone screen with pretty standard and pleasant. My in-person interview with this company was very unprofessional. The company itself does not have a physical location, so the interview was conducted after-hours at a cafe. Interviewer was not friendly. Overall, I felt like I was defending every point and experience on my resume and being met with rudeness and hostility.
